What’s microneedling?

Microneedling uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the dermis. The dermis is the middle layer of skin, containing fibroblasts that produce collagen.

The tiny punctures are nearly invisible, but they signal your body to start the natural wound-healing process. This process activates growth factors and the fibroblasts that produce more collagen and elastin.

Setup

The microneedling process

Using either a traditional microneedling device or Morpheus8, we create controlled micro-injuries on the surface of your skin. With Morpheus8, we also deliver gentle radiofrequency energy to deeper layers of your skin.

Aftercare

Following treatment, your skin may appear pink or slightly swollen — similar to a mild sunburn. That usually subsides within a couple of days. We provide specific aftercare instructions, such as avoiding direct sun exposure and using soothing, hydrating skin care products.
